Frosted Retreat — A Reversible Scenic Landscape Jasper Pendant Necklace in Sterling Silver

How fortunate was I to have come across this stunning Landscape Jasper. The phrase “one of a kind” is used so often in the jewelry world. And it feels cliche to say it here to explain this wondrous rock.

Wrapped in thick fine silver and backed on an open sterling bezel, as the reverse is equally as stunning. Sterling tube bails sit a top of the pendant, as to frame this for the masterpiece of Nature that it is. 

I have hung this pendant in a modern style with the sterling oblong chain coming from either side of their respective bail. A modern sterling rectangle clasp finishes in the back.

Please note this chain is fixed and can not be switched out.

The pendant is 1.3 inches tall including the bail and 1.7 inches wide. The chain is 18 inches long.

This piece is handmade and one of a kind. I have created this in an eco-friendly manner using recycled silver — from hand with no harsh jewelers chemicals and no power tools.

Thus, it has taken me a considerable amount of time compared to using other modern jewelry techniques. Therefore, file marks, as well as asymmetries are all part of the hand-fashioned process.
