Frozen in Time: Green Meadows — A Bridewell Stone Pendant Necklace in Sterling Silver

Another in the Frozen In Time Series. This one named “Green Meadows”. Brilliant starburst like striations lie within.

This magnificent Bridewell stone is reminiscent of some magical star formation. The ribbon-like crystallizations bloomed in a World of soft greens and blues, giving almost a cracked glass-like appearance.

Wrapped in fine silver and backed on sterling, I have left the back cut out to allow light to pass through this stunning piece. The elongated oval diamond cut sterling silver chain is fixed to the pendant and finishes with a handmade hook and tube closure in the back.

This piece is handmade and one of a kind. I have created this entire piece in an eco-friendly manner — from hand with no harsh jewelers chemicals and no power tools.
The old fashioned way.
Thus, it has taken me a considerable amount of time compared to using other modern jewelry techniques. Therefore, file marks, as well as asymmetries are all part of the hand-fashioned process.

Please do not submerge this pendant in liquid, as it will form a cloudiness behind the edges of the stone over time.

This piece has been entirely made out of recycled silver, the back of the bezel is open to allow light to pass through this magnificent stone. The pendant is 1.15 inches across at its widest point and 1.5 inches in height. The chain measures 18.5 inches long.
