Sun Mountain — A Landscape Java Jasper Pendant Necklace in Oxidized Sterling Silver

Another one of a kind stone in this stunningly detailed natural Java Jasper. 
The “sun’s” reflection in this scene is nothing short of magnificent.

Wrapped in fine silver and backed on sterling silver and then oxidized using a slow and non toxic method. This portrait style “framed” landscape hangs from a handmade oxidized sterling silver bail, giving the piece a classic finished look.

The chain is an oxidized paper clip style sterling silver chain completed with an oversized oval lobster clasp in the back. — Because of the size of the bail on this pendant, this chain can be switched out to one of your own, should you choose.

The pendant measures about inches tall 1.9 inches tall including the bail by about 2.25 inches wide. She is a big bold and beautiful girl!

The chain measures about 18.5 inches long and because of the nature of the chain, you can use the clasp on different rings on the chain to make it a little shorter, should you choose.

This is handmade and one of a kind. I have created this in an eco-friendly manner using recycled silver — from hand with no harsh jewelers chemicals and no power tools.

Thus, it has taken me a considerable amount of time compared to using other modern jewelry techniques. Therefore, file marks, as well as asymmetries are all part of the hand-fashioned process.
