This Boulder Opal, so rich in color and texture inside, it’s as if it has a World of its own within.
Sprawling veining under the undulating surface contrasts well against the host rock. Blue and lavender fire beams at you from different view points of the stone.
This Boulder Opal is truly the most magical I have seen to date. As if you were peering into a secret underwater World.
Wrapped in fine silver and set upon sterling. The sterling handmade bail, for simplicity purposes curves in time with the stone. I have fully handmade the sterling chain, with alternating links and bars. Hand hammered, slightly textured for further richness in its simplicity. An oversized oblong lobster clasp secures this piece.
A future heirloom.
This pendant measures 1.1 inches across and 1 inch from top to bottom including the bail. The chain is just shy of 17 inches in total length.
As my other pieces, this has been made out of recycled silver, and has employed an eco friendly way of creation from start to finish. Hand tools only and no harsh chemicals were used.
