Hidden Scenes — A Waterscape Pair of Peruvian Opal Earrings in Sterling Silver

Peruvian Opals reminiscent of Seaweed carpeted Blue Ocean Waters.

Hold these little dangly stud earrings up to the light, and make out the fishies swimming in the hidden protection of the “seaweed” camouflaging.

Wrapped in fine silver, and set on sterling silver. Almost as if it were hidden, until light shines from behind, little hand sawed fishies swim amongst the reeds (the “reed-like” striations and deposits being the natural patterns in the opal). 

These stones measure 0.5 inches in diameter. And the length of the earring from post to bottom is 1.15 inches.

These earrings incorporate recycled silver, as my other pieces and were completed by my hand, using no power tools or harsh chemicals in the process.

As a reminder, please no submerging my jewelry in liquids, as refraining from doing so will prolong the silvers’ luster.
