Dusk on the Dunes — A Green Jasper Landscape Pendant Neckalce in Sterling Silver

A Green Jasper Presents a Starlit Evening. The natural landscape like patterns inside this jasper has been laid upon an oxidized background to allow hand detailed stars to peer through the night sky.

Wrapped in fine silver and backed on sterling, this piece hangs from a sterling paper clip style chain that fastens with an oblong lobster clasp in the back. (Please note this chain is fixed and not removable). An accent of a Blue Kyanite stone hovers above… as if it’s a blue moon hanging in the night sky.

This pendant measures 1.15 inches in length by about 1 inch across. The chain is approximately 18 inches in length.

This is handmade and one of a kind. I have created this in an eco-friendly manner — from hand with no harsh jewelers chemicals and no power tools. 

The old fashioned way, using recycled silver.

Thus, it has taken me a considerable amount of time compared to using other modern jewelry techniques. Therefore, file marks, as well as asymmetries are all part of the hand-fashioned process.

Please refrain from submerging this piece in liquid, as over time it will dull the effect of the starlit background.
