Frozen in Time: Grounding Earth — A Bridewell Stone Pendant Necklace in Sterling Silver and Gold

Another in the Frozen In Time Series. This one named “Grounding Earth”. Brilliant starburst like lines lie within.

This magnificent Bridewell with its star-like crystallizations bloomed in a World of rich brown tones.

Wrapped in fine silver and backed on sterling then oxidized in an environmentally friendly manner. I have left the back cut out to allow light to pass through this stunning piece. 

Measurements:

Pendant Width — 1.2 inches

Pendant Height Including Bail — 0.9 inches

Chain Length — 17.5 inches. Gold filled oval and Paper clip style sterling chain that has been oxidized. An oversized oxidized sterling lobster clasp finishes the piece in the front. — Please note this chain is fixed to the pendant and can not be switched out for one of your own.

This piece is handmade and one of a kind. I have created this entire piece in an eco-friendly manner — from hand with no harsh jewelers chemicals and no power tools.
The old fashioned way.
Thus, it has taken me a considerable amount of time compared to using other modern jewelry techniques. Therefore, file marks, as well as asymmetries are all part of the hand-fashioned process.

Please note because I use an environmentally friendly, and old style of oxidation, the dark oxidation colors may and will be uneven. Rather than a solid color, many deep colors come out in this process such as cobalt blues, deep purples and stormy grays. — All another benefit of using non-harsh patina techniques, you get a true oxidization effect.
