Wildflower Seedling — An Amethyst Sage Agate Pendant Necklace in Oxidized Silver

Deliciously Warming Hues in this Wildflower Seedling Portrait inside of a Natural Amethyst Sage Agate. The stunning manganese veining, which pattern strongly reminiscent of a flower, is uncommon with these stones.

Wrapped in Fine Silver and set upon a Sterling Back, this piece has then been oxidized.

This necklace was then oxidized using a time consuming non-toxic method, one that offers not a uniform, but varying degrees of dark and smoky hues. I strive to create my oxidized pieces to come as close as possible to looking as if they were truly oxidized over a long period of time.

Pendant Length — 1.8 inches

Pendant Width — 0.65 inches

Chain Length — 18 inches. Textured Sterling Silver Elongated Oval Style Chain. A modern style Sterling Lobster Clasp fastens in the back. Oxidized Silver. This chain can not be switched out and is fixed to the pendant.

This is handmade and one of a kind. I have created this in an eco-friendly manner — from hand with no harsh jewelers chemicals and no power tools. 

The old fashioned way, using recycled silver.

Thus, it has taken me a considerable amount of time compared to using other modern jewelry techniques. Therefore, file marks, as well as asymmetries are all part of the hand-fashioned process.
