A Landscape Dendritic Agate Pendant Necklace in Sterling Silver

Little Miniature Scenic Views in this charming Dendritic Agate stone. This one, wrapped in a fine silver bezel and set on a sterling silver backplate. Behind the stone peeks through a hand etched full moon, on a naturally oxidized background.

This piece was oxidized using a traditional, time consuming, non-chemical method bringing forth natural deep and smoky oxidization colors. 

The face of the pendant is about 1.1 inches tall including the bail, by about 0.9 inches wide.

She hangs from an 18.5 inch shiny sterling tube and cable chain and fastens with a sterling lobster clasp in the back. 

The bail on this piece allows for this chain to be removed and a small diameter chain of your own to be used in its place should you choose.

This piece is handmade and one of a kind. I have created this in an eco-friendly manner using recycled silver — from hand with no harsh jewelers chemicals and no power tools.

Thus, it has taken me a considerable amount of time compared to using other modern jewelry techniques. Therefore, file marks, as well as asymmetries are all part of the hand-fashioned process.

Do not submerge this necklace in liquid, as a haziness will form over time behind the stone.
