An Autumn Tree Lined Landscape on a Lake, but when you hold it up to the light, it changes to something a bit different. It’s Wild. I adore these natural Petrified Woods. They offer such a spectacular view into the Past.

This lovely specimen has been wrapped in fine silver and set on an open bezel backplate of sterling silver. This allows the light to pass through, offering the stunning contrasting landscapes.

Hanging from a 19 1/2 inch sterling cable chain off of a modern tube bail setting, this fastens in the back with a handmade sterling toggle clasp. (Please note this chain is fixed to the pendant and can not be removed).

Simply a stunning statement piece.

The pendant measures 1.3 inches tall including the bails by 1.6 inches wide.

This is handmade and one of a kind. I have created this in an eco-friendly manner — from hand with no harsh jewelers chemicals and no power tools. 
The old fashioned way, using recycled silver.
 
Thus, it has taken me a considerable amount of time compared to using other modern jewelry techniques. Therefore, file marks, as well as asymmetries are all part of the hand-fashioned process.
