Ancient Seas #15 - An Elevated Ammonite Negative and Boulder Opal Split Ring in Sterling Silver and 14kt Gold — Size 7 1/2 to 9

Typically I oxidize the pieces which I incorporate Ammonite Negatives. But this one shouted to stay shiny! These stones have been wrapped in fine silver and set on a sterling silver band.

The wide style band is hand textured with a leaf imprint, and has a fluted style opening, creating a larger size range for this ring as well as a ring that sits elevated on your hand.

A Sterling Silver prong and Solid 14kt Gold accent flanks the stones.

Because of the Size and Split Design of this Ammonite Negative and Boulder Opal Ring, it can accommodate many sizes ranging from 7 1/2 -ish to around 9 -ish. — Please just let me know when you purchase what you would like it set at when I send it to you.

As reminder, please no swimming, bathing or heavy exercise with this ring. Please no polishing or buffing as that will remove its lovely oxidation. — This is a Fossil; Mother Nature’s original Art. Please treat this piece as such. 

The width of the band measures 0.4 inches in diameter. The stones are both approximately 0.75 inches in length and the wider stone is 0.45 inches in width.

Due to my eco friendly practices, this ring can not be resized to any other size out of the range above.

This is handmade and one of a kind. I have created this in an eco-friendly manner — from hand with no harsh jewelers chemicals and no power tools.

Thus, it has taken me a considerable amount of time compared to using other modern jewelry techniques. Therefore, file marks, as well as asymmetries are all part of the hand-fashioned process.
