A magnificent rare Malawi Moonstone in this Fortune Teller-esque piece. — While the moonstone is clear, I have naturally oxidized the backplate of the ring, to allow the rainbow pattern in the stone to become more vibrant.
The face of the ring measures 0.65 inches wide by 0.5 inches. The width of the hand wrapped sterling band is 0.2 inches wide.
This would best suit a size 6 1/2.
This is handmade and one of a kind. I have created this in an eco-friendly manner — from hand with no harsh jewelers chemicals and no power tools.
The old fashioned way, using recycled silver.
Thus, it has taken me a considerable amount of time compared to using other modern jewelry techniques. Therefore, file marks, as well as asymmetries are all part of the hand-fashioned process.
