Drifting Snowflake — A Blue Chalcedony Pendant Necklace in Oxidized Sterling Silver

Hope you aren’t tired of Snow yet …… This petite Blue Chalcedony is semi transparent, giving this little hand sawed snowflake a little room to shine when held up to the light.

Wrapped in fine silver and set on sterling, I have placed a lovely little snowflake on the back side. This piece then has been oxidized to offer contrast between the stone.

This stone measures 0.75 inches in diameter. The pendant with the bail measures 1.1 inches in length. 

The petite ball and link chain oxidized and shiny sterling chain is 16 inches and finishes with a small lobster clasp.

This chain is not fixed to the pendant so it can me removed and switched out for a small one of your own should you choose.

This piece is handmade and one of a kind. I have created this in an eco-friendly manner using recycled silver — from hand with no harsh jewelers chemicals and no power tools.

Thus, it has taken me a considerable amount of time compared to using other modern jewelry techniques. Therefore, file marks, as well as asymmetries are all part of the hand-fashioned process.

Do not submerge this necklace in liquid, as a haziness will form over time behind the stone.
