Between Land and Sea — A Pair of Petrified Wood Opal Earrings in Sterling Silver

Scenes of the same landscape but at different times of the day. — Can you see that the sun is rising within one of them? 

These Natural Petrified Woods are typically a favorite of mine to work with. Although, I did manage to crack one of these in the setting process. I did stabilize it, hence is offered at a reduced price. — The cracks are represented in the last photograph where the sun is reflecting off of the earring on the right.

Wrapped in fine silver and set on sterling these swing from sterling tube bails and have coordinating hand formed ear wires.

These stones measure 0.45 inches across by 1.25 inches tall. The total front length of the earring is 1.9 inches The total back drop length is 2.8 inches.

These earrings incorporate recycled silver, as my other pieces and were completed by my hand, using no power tools or harsh chemicals in the process.
