Spring’s Horizon — A Pair of Dendritic Agate Drop Earrings in Oxidized Silver and 14kt Gold

Mother Nature working her magic again in a tiny form. These stones are completely natural and offer nothing less than a rare and stunning tree lined view.

These natural dendritic agates scenes have been wrapped in fine silver and sit on sterling. Solid 14kt gold accents flank the bottom of each stone.

Hand-formed long sterling silver ear wires bring sophistication to this pair.

I have oxidized this pair using an ancient and non-jewelers chemical method. The colors, aged imperfectly as silver does naturally over time in our World.

Do not submerge these earrings in liquid, as a haziness will form over time behind the stones.

Face of the earrings are approximately 0.55 inches long by 0.45 inches wide. The front drop length of the earring is 1.4 inches. The total length of the ear wire drop in the back is 2.55 inches.

These are handmade and one of a kind using recycled metals. I have created these in an eco-friendly manner — from hand with no harsh jewelers chemicals and no power tools. The old fashioned way. Thus, it has taken me a considerable amount of time compared to using other modern jewelry techniques. Therefore, file marks, as well as asymmetries are all part of the hand-fashioned process.
