Ancient Seas #11 — A Fossilized Coral Ring in Oxidized Sterling Silver — Size 6 3/4

Fossilized coral in natural Autumnal Hues. The pattern, mimicking a flower.

This stone has been wrapped in fine silver and set upon a sterling backplate.

A squared off style thin band sterling band has been naturally oxidized along with the bezel work to give this piece a worn and moody feel. Sterling Silver accent pieces sporadically flank the side of the stone. 

Please note because I use an environmentally friendly, and old style of oxidation, the dark oxidation colors may and will be uneven. Rather than a solid color, many deep colors come out in this process such as cobalt blues, deep purples and stormy grays. — All another benefit of using non-harsh patina techniques, you get a true oxidization effect.

This is handmade and one of a kind. I have created this in an eco-friendly manner — from hand with no harsh jewelers chemicals and no power tools.

Thus, it has taken me a considerable amount of time compared to using other modern jewelry techniques. Therefore, file marks, as well as asymmetries are all part of the hand-fashioned process.

The diameter of the face of the ring is approximately 0.7 inches.

This would best fit a size 6 3/4.
