Purple Sky at Night — A Moss Agate Landscape Pendant Necklace in Oxidized Sterling Silver

Finding a natural moonlit landscape within a stone is near unparalleled joy for me. So setting this darling landscape into a pendant was a pleasure. 

Wrapped in fine silver, sitting upon hand textured sterling. I don’t own a rolling mill, so it’s all done by hand. The oxidation has been done using a natural, slow, and non-toxic method. Thus giving the metal a warm variety of browns, blues and deep grays.

A variety of silver and oxidized silver accents are peppered around the sides of the stone.

The Pendant is 1.3 inches wide and 1.6 inches long including the unique handmade bail.

The shiny sterling silver rolo chain is 18 inches long, and finishes with a small sterling lobster clasp. Because of the diameter of this bail, this chain may be easily swapped for one of your own.

This is handmade and one of a kind. I have created this in an eco-friendly manner using recycled silver — from hand with no harsh jewelers chemicals and no power tools.

Thus, it has taken me a considerable amount of time compared to using other modern jewelry techniques. Therefore, file marks, as well as asymmetries are all part of the hand-fashioned process.
